Guess what....God and Drums!!!

Yeah I know, stuck record. Gonna ramble about tonight before trying to fill in the gaps of the Easter holiday. Issues at morning service, but thanks to Emu and running and the gym I was chilled again in time for the evening service. Tom Kelsey leading worship and yeah I was playing drums. Today I was chilled about it, even kinda looking forward to it. By the end I was loving it. It was another God take over and you just praise him and don't worry about playing and JUST PLAY!!! The old delirious Men of Faith (can't remember the new PC title) and All blessings flow from God above (or something like that) were great, esp in the 'after' bit where I did my keep getting louder thing hehe. All this in stark contrast to last week when I had a complete stressed out meltdown and felt awful and hated the whole service cos I was so stressed about not messing up on the drums. Oh well.

After the service I was in my 'Tigger Place' where I can't stand still (happens when we stop suddenly on a complete high) but luckily Ben Lacey was Tigger too (alwasy is). We went cruising with the roof down and the Soul Survivor CD on LOUD!!!! Screamed and sang our way round town, then went for a burn around the Outwoods. Hehe. Now I am here doing this and will soon be watching James Bond DVDs in bed rather than going to the pub. Have had enough at the mo of trying to be sociable, and am just avoiding other issues. Oh well, gives them all a chance to talk about me again ;-)

Catching up

Well its been ages since I last posted, and I only ever seem to do it when I am hyper after playing drums at church so thought I would try to catch up a bit while my tea is cooking. Incidentally Em has just told me that Abi (mate from uni, Em's house mate for years, crazy lady) has just been selceted for England at Archery. Go dude! and must also mention 2 new bundles of poo, sorry, Joy. Florence (Remi's sister) has had a baby girl called Corrine, and Bex (Soppy Git) has had a boy called Joshua. Groovy. Rest of Soppy Gits all broody now though. I am trying to be immune, but then I haven't seen it yet.

Right, er what did I do over Easter. Not enough PhD thats for sure. Oh well. Can't remember anything interesting from the first weekend. Busy day on Wednesday. Went to Jono's to watch Goldfinger. Rushed to Nottingham for counselling appointment (I like counselling now, she lets me play with the Duplo and the sandbox). Back to Jono's for another 2 Bonds (You only live twice and TWINE) then to the Docs to ask for an AS diagnosis. He was not playing ball.

Friday was cool, did the All Age service at church (I drawed Jesus doodling and the last Nosh up with Mates for the timeline) then the 'walk of witness' through Loughborough. Not that impressed as was told not allowed to talk and the hymns were dull. But, did pass on my Palm cross to Scott in my form.

Think tea is burning so will stop there. Also getting distracted checking ebay. Wanna buya PS2. Naughty me.
