Torquay and Bean maybe?!
Mon 2nd April. Slow start thanks to retro games website. Bible reading lost out to Columns I am ashamed to say. When finally got going we started by baking a fruit cake (sorry Alison and Sheila, please forgive me). Don't we look good in our aprons...?
Halfway through we needed ingredients so went to Asda. I also ended up with new pants! which Mum had to pay for (she insisted) because I have never bought my own underwear in my life, I just wait for Christmas and birthdays. (Would rather have Lego than pants, but I guess needs must). I now also have some funky tea towels and a decent cake tin. How very domesticated.
After bread and water in the car for dinner (genuinely) we went Ice Skating at the new rink next door. Have just about recovered the use of my hand now after it was squeezed to death for two hours but neither of us 'took a tumble'. Photos were rubbish so not worth putting up. Was strictly forbidden to take photos anyway. Boo Hiss.
Called by to see Angelique on the way home. Will not say what we were playing, cos I would never live it down (Alison...if another soul ever sees that photo your life will not be worth living!)
Am tired out now. Will attempt to do bible reading before tea. Here goes....

BINGO!!!
Back in sunny Norfolk. I can't make Easter weekend so we kind of did the traditional Easter Sunday trip to Hemsby yesterday. But first I was playing with the boys, and got some relatively nice pics...although Frankie was less than willing to pose for the camera...
So, then we went to Hemsby. Chucked a few stones in the sea (no see goons to aim at!). Failed to see any lovely people with galaxy and shells. Did see a kite surfer tho....sooooo cool (but was bl**dy freezing, hope he had a good wetsuit)...
Jon went off to join others in the cafe while me, Pops and Chalkie went into the dunes to find where Great Gran Wilson's chalet 'Chin Chin' was. This is the view from behind where it used to be. Was good to remember some great summer's playing in the sand there.
Then we all went to the Amusements. I was under instructions to whoop my Nan's ass at bingo...which I did! Got two wins...get in! She did win a fiver on the donkey derby tho...and Chalkie got two motorbikes out of the tuppenny falls! All in all a very successful afternoon!
